===Spectre=== In 2503, Bennett and his rebels were ready to make his move. On Altara, Tosh ambushed and captured Kath Toom, intent on having her join his cause. He had her exposed to terrazine, removed her neural implant and explained that he intended to set her "free". He was warm and tender towards her, but was aggravated at the scar left by the implant's removal, taking it out on fellow rebel Dylanna Okyl. On Gehenna Station, he was contacted by Bennett, who chastised him for the less than complete destruction of the refinery on Altara that Toom had been captured at, worried about salvageable evidence. Tosh assured him that there was nothing to worry about. Additionally, he pressed his case to recruit Nova Terra into the rebel movement, for both personal and objective reasons. Bennett gave Tosh permission to recruit his old comrade, while also ordering that the movement make its final move against Mengsk. He offered Toom a place in the planned assault on Augustgrad (including a fiery tirade about freedom and the like), but she refused. Tosh took several spectres—Okyl, Sloan, Caleb, Jara and Karl—with him. During the mission, Tosh was suffering from terrazine-caused problems. He was seeing illusions, although he knew they weren't real. Him missing Toom and his concerns about Okyl's reliability didn't help matters either. Regardless, Lio Travski shut down the automated defenses and communications around Mengsk's Palace. Okyl suffered worse problems, and began butchering Dominion guards. Tosh was so enraged he mentally attacked her, but Sloan and the hallucination of his grandmother talked him down. However, Okyl's antics alerted the Dominion to the formerly secret attack. Arcturus Mengsk managed to slip a message past Travski, then hid in a psi-shielded panic room. Tosh and several spectres—Caleb, Jara and Karl, clashed with Nova Terra and her team of ghosts. They ambushed the ghosts and used their powers to disable the ghost suits. However, Terra fought back, resulting in the deaths of Jara and Karl. Tosh and his spectres made off with two of the ghosts though. Tosh mentally introduced himself to Terra, but she rejected him. As she entered the palace, she was ambushed by Dylanna Okyl, who stabbed her in the back and sprayed her with terrazine. Tosh revealed himself to a trapped Mengsk before fleeing as Nova Squadron marines entered the palace. The mission was a failure. General Cole Bennett was angered, and told Tosh to bring in Terra by force. Bennett captured Terra and Malcolm Kelerchian. The latter was taken to Gehenna Station as a prisoner in order to force Terra to kidnap Mengsk and turn him over to Bennett. Terra escaped and, hiding aboard the battlecruiser Palatine, was taken to the station. She launched Kelerchian's empty vessel, the November, and talked Travski into making it look like she was aboard. Meanwhile, Tosh and Bennett had another argument about Terra. Tosh was upset that Bennett was trying to force Terra into working with them. Bennett noted that none of the spectres were using enough jorium, nor were they following their terrazine schedules properly. After the argument, an upset Tosh mentally lashed out at Kath Toom, prompting her to flee. He was immediately sorry, but she was already in hiding. When the November arrived, Tosh warned Bennett not to go aboard it. Bennett went anyway, and quickly realized that Terra was not there. She had already escaped into the station. Tosh believed Travski had turned traitor and had disabled the Palatine. Tosh had an EMP system which could be used on Travski for moments like this. Once communications were established, Bennett discovered that Tosh was more unstable than previously though. Terra encountered Kath Toom, and had a short brawl. Terra knocked Toom unconscious, then stole her suit and gun. Bennett discovered the injured Toom. He used telekinesis to destroy her brain, as part of a plot to frame Terra for Toom's death. Tosh learned of Toom's "injury." He ran into Okyl, who told him that Terra had killed Toom. Tosh noted an aura of deception around her. He psionically lashed out, killing Okyl. Terra slipped into Kelerchian's cell and freed him. Travski told them of the plot to frame her. Major Spaulding's battlecruiser began attacking Gehenna Station. Terra tried to reach the Palatine, but Hauler intercepted her. Terra found herself among rows of "stasis chambers", many of which were occupied. Bennett told her these were psi indoctrinators. Bennett trapped her in a cell. While there, Travski, who had survived the EMP attack, contacted Terra. He had survived the EMP attack. She told him to feed footage of Bennett's admission of murder to Tosh. An angry Tosh barged in. As he and Bennett used their psionic powers against each other, Terra was able to use her own powers to throw a stalactite at Bennett, killing him. Meanwhile, Tosh took Toom's body into the Palatine, along with six indoctrinator chambers. He didn't realize that Toom was dead. The hallucination of Grandma Tosh told Tosh to travel to his home planet of Haji.
