- Late Year: Confederacy forces led by Alpha Squadron captain Edmund Duke and 33rd Ground Assault Division captain Arcturus Mengsk clash with Kel-Morian Combine forces at the Noranda Glacier vespene refinery complex, Onuru Sigma. The former fall into an ambush and the Confederates respond by destroying the complex, only to be driven off by Kel-Morian brigade-size ground forces and battlecruisers. This battle marks the beginning of the Guild Wars.[3]

According to the StarCraft II: Heaven's Devils timeline, the Kel-Morian Combine was founded this year.[4] According to images of in-universe advertising found in StarCraft II, the Kel-Morian Combine was founded in 2376.[5] This agrees with information found in StarCraft: I, Mengsk, where the Combine clashes with the Terran Confederacy considerably before 2485.[3]
