"A Zerg, A Shotgun, and You", also known as "Zerg, Shotgun, and You", is a song in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.[1][2]
It is composed by Anthony Theisen, James Page, and John Denton and performed by White Boy James & The Blues Express.[1]
History[]
"A Zerg, A Shotgun, and You" was a popular terran musical track performed by White Boy James & The Blues Express, written by the notorious outlaw-poet James "White Boy" Page. It was a followup to their previous hit "Excuse Me for Scribblin'." The song was later banned by the Terran Dominion. The song was part of Revolution Overdrive: Songs of Liberty, compiling the greatest anti-Dominion songs of the Koprulu sector.[1]
Lyrics[]
Shotgun, zerg and you
I gotta zerg and a shotgun
And I'm bringin' 'em home to you.
Pickup, protoss and you
I gotta pickup and a protoss
And I'm bringin' 'em home to you.
Shovel, bucket and you
I gotta shovel and a bucket
And I'm bringin' 'em home to you.
Boots, socks and you
I got boots and socks
And I’m bringin' 'em home to you.
Protoss, pickup, shovel, bucket, boots, socks, salsa, chips, whiskey, coke, candy, flowers, headstone, grave
I gotta zerg and a shotgun
And I’m bringin' 'em home to you.
Hey grab your zerg and beat 'em in the head, if you don't like biscuits, feed 'em cornbread
Zerg don't waste time half drunk, jump on a man like a dog on a bone
Like a dog on a bone.
Gonna be a hood ornament in a second
STEAMROLLER!
Kick off your shoes
Stay awhile
Take your coat off
Take your socks off
Hang your hat up
Get you something to eat
I'll catch you next time.
Game Effect[]
It can be played on the jukebox in the cantina.[2]
Notes[]
- In the song, "protoss" is pronounced as "pro-tohs" instead of the usual "pro-toss."
- A live performance of the song was done at BlizzCon 2010.
