- Alexei Stukov(src)
The Aleksander appears in the Co-op Missions mode of StarCraft II.
Game Unit[]
The Aleksander serves as a calldown for Alexei Stukov in Co-op Missions, unlocked at level 10 and appearing as an infested battlecruiser. It shoots infested terran eggs bombs as its anti-ground attack which immediately hatch, and will attack air units with tentacles that do damage over time. It can perform both of these while moving.
The egg bombs are thrown in waves of 3 per attack, dealing the Aleksander's listed damage thrice and spawning 3 units. The result is that its apparent attack speed is of 0.5 seconds, instead of the listed 1.5. From the eggs, one will be an Infested Trooper, the other two will be Infested Civilians.
The anti-air tentacles will deal their listed damage once when first latched, and afterwards 2.5 damage that ignores armor every 0.125 seconds. This damage over time is also increased by 10% by each weapon upgrade.
Unlike other tentacle based attacks, the Aleksander's tentacles latch into its targets, stunning them (unless they are heroic units). When the Aleksander moves, it will drag along the targets it has latched on. As a result, the Aleksander cannot switch air targets if all 5 of its tentacles are still latched into other units.
At level 15 these tentacles no longer stun their targets, instead it mind control air units. It will continue to damage the targets while mind controlled however, but it will immediately target a new unit air unit once the previous target dies.
The Aleksander crashes when its life times out or it is destroyed, dealing 500 damage to units underneath it and spawning infested terrans every second for 30 seconds, after which it will collapse and despawn, dealing no further damage. The crashed Aleksander has no healthbar and cannot be targeted, but it does have a hitbox which blocks ground units.
The tentacle stun/mind control ability makes the Aleksander superb for dealing with air forces. Its anti-ground capacity is considerably weaker, albeit the masses of infested will cause significant distruption. When dealing with heavy ground forces the Apocalisk is superior, albeit the Aleksander's crash effect will wipe out most units if correctly positioned when its about to be destroyed or timeout.

When the Aleksander is destroyed or runs out of time, it crashes onto enemy units and structures underneath it, dealing 300 damage to all units and structures caught in the crash. It then becomes a structure with no visible hit point bar for 30 seconds. During this time period, it produces infested civilians and infested troopers at a high rate (one infested per second). These units have shortened timed lives (each spawned infested can fight for 8 seconds).
Volatile Infested Spawn Chance Mastery: The crashed Aleksander can spawn volatile infested with a chance to +0.5% per mastery point.
