Alexei Stukov is playable as a hero unit in the mission "Phantoms of the Void." The player must use Stukov in the mission to deactivate various xel'naga temples around the map. If he dies, he resurrects at the main hatchery in 60 seconds; this is a trigger effect, not an effect of his unit. He also appears in the Legacy of the Void campaign in the "Into the Void" mission with the same stats and abilities as the previous campaigns, with only the Regeneration Aura unavailable.
