Annabella "Bella" Terra was the wife of Constantino Terra, serving as the joint-head of the Terra Family.

By way of physical appearance, Bella was short, stout, a brunette and possessed an olive complexion and hourglass figure.

Constantino and Bella did not get along with each other, partly because Constantino was too "nice" to his employees and partly because of his political and philosophical views. Bella Terra was considered the head of the household, a gender-defined role.

Biography[]

Like most Old Family marriages, Bella did not marry Constantino out of love but rather financial expediency. Artificial insemination produced her three heirs (Clara, Zebediah and Nova) and she could obtain physical pleasure from her jig, Edward Peters, just like Constantino had his mistress, Eleftheria. Somewhat unusually, Bella got on well with her, even though she often tried to mediate in the many arguments she had with her husband, Bella in turn deriving pleasure from interrupting the couple 'private moments.' In contrast, she always found Peters to be something of a cold fish.

Bella, like Constantino, knew of Nova's telepathic abilities, and likewise hid them in order to keep the Ghost Program from taking her.

Downfall[]

As Nova celebrated her 15th birthday, bad news reached the Terra Family—the Sons of Korhal had destroyed a Terra 428 hoverbike plant in Palombo Valley. As it was an inside job, Constantino made the decision to send Nova away to a resort on Tyrador IX for her safety. Nova came to her mother, believing that she was being sent to a reeducation facility, and an angry Bella confronted her husband. Constantino clarified that it was a resort, and had been done in response to the rebel attack. Likewise, there was also the issue of the zerg and protoss, whose war was consuming the sector. As this was a security matter, he had the final say. Bella agreed to his reasoning, but was still miffed at her husband.

Bella is executed

Three days later, Constantino's fears became realized. Edward Peters was an insider, who had thrown in his lot with a band of rebels. The group stormed the Terra Skyscraper, and Bella was killed by Gustavo McBain in front of her husband and son.
