The ancient nexus is a protoss nexus enhanced with xel'naga technology. In an alternate timeline where Zeratul survived the opening stages of the End War, the dark prelate utilized these structures against Amon's Forces as a central hub of operations for his forces.

Game Structure

The ancient nexus serves as the command structure for Zeratul in Co-op Missions. It will automatically construct ancient assimilators on nearby vespene geysers unless they were under rocks when the ancient nexus finished building.

Abilities

Chrono Boost

Places target structure in a Chrono Boost, causing it to operate 22.5% faster.

Can be used on allied structures.

Increases the shield armor of all protoss units and structures.

Passive Notes Instantly upgrades when Zeratul finds an artifact fragment.
