- Unit description(src)
The Avatar of Form is a xel'naga construct that embodies psionic potential. In an alternate timeline where Zeratul survived the beginning of the End War, Zeratul was able to deploy these once he assembled three artifact fragments, supporting his forces with massive entropic blasts, and supporting them with massive psionic gales, psionic blasts, and charged crystals.[1]
Game Unit[]
The Avatar of Form is the offensive counterpart to the Avatar of Essence, with an auto-casting psionic storm ability, a concentrated blast, and the ability to summon miniaturized charged crystals to provide additional support for itself.
The choice between the Avatars of Form or Essence should be based on what force is being faced. Form best serves as a "panic button" to intercept attack waves, while Essence is more useful as a force multiplier for heavier assaults.
Abilities[]
Creates a storm of psionic energy that lasts 4 seconds, dealing 160 damage to all enemy units in a large target area. Does not damage friendly units. Can be set to autocast (Avatar of Form will automatically cast, when if it find 3 valid enemies).
