Avernus Station is a space station situated in or near the Koprulu Sector. It is built on desposits of minerals and vespene gas, some of which have been depleted.[1]
Appearances
It appeared in StarCraft: The Board Game: Brood War[1] and is set to appear in StarCraft II.[2]
Trivia
The station originally shared the same design as Erebus Station.[3] With the release of the board game however, it was given its own design.
It may be named after the Avernus crater, the ancient name for the crater containing Lake Avernus in Italy.
