"Gambler's paradise. The Koprulu sector's high rollers go there. Lots of entertainment too."

- Tychus Findlay on Bacchus Moon(src)

Bacchus Moon is a settled moon. Though at one time it was covered in large lush fields, the moon was developed to moon have no green space, and is covered by cities, including the capital, Semele. Its convenient location made it[1] a popular vacation spot. It has a reputation for being a haven for illegal activity and vice[2], although in reality the moon's heavy security prevents much crime from occurring. It is considered to be a major gambler's haven for the sector, with a large amount of entertainment. The moon was also known for its security, as banks there were renowned for keeping valuables deposited with them safe.

In 2494, Jim Raynor and Tychus Findlay attempted to rob the moon's Covington Bank in Semele under the order of Scutter O'Banon. However, the operation went awry, leading to Tychus's capture by authorities, though Raynor was able to escape.[1]

Terran Dominion marines commonly took shore leave on Bacchus Moon, enjoying it various establishments.[3]

In 2503, Dominion company commander Zeke Turner was taking shore leave on the moon when he was suddenly murdered.[4]
