The Balius is a prototype Archangel variant built by Moebius Corps. During the End War it was commandeered by General Carolina Davis of the Terran Dominion. After allied commanders aided her in repairing the mech, Davis turned it against the facility's Moebius hybrids, to destroy them before they caused untold devastation. Davis said that after the battle, she would take the Balius and its prototype technology back to the Dominion to be researched.[1]
Game Unit[]
The Balius is an Archangel that aids players on the map "Part and Parcel". Players must first get 70 parts to repair the mech, and then it will move to a Moebius hybrid, releasing it, then aiding in the fight against it. If it is destroyed, the Balius will simply return to its repair bay, after freeing the hybrid if it had not been reached yet. After the fight, players will need to collect 70 more parts to reactivate the Balius.

Notes[]
- The editor name for the Balius from the Co-op Missions map "Part and Parcel" is "Archangel Xanthos Experimental" in the Galaxy Map Editor. This, as well as Davis's poke quotes, imply the Xanthos was created from the Balius when it was brought back to the Dominion, though Co-op Missions have been declared non-canon.[2]
