Beta Saul is a planet in the Koprulu sector that came of interest to the Moebius Foundation in the months before the End War. The atmosphere is a noxious cocktail of deadly gases that provide low visibility. The surface is a thick sludge, with cypress knee-like projections ranging from two meters tall to twice the size of an average human. Xel'naga temples are located on the surface.
The Brute Squad of Moebius Corps was sent to retrieve a xel'naga relic from the planet, but was followed by a pirate named Zeus of the Players' Club. Commander Dorian broke protocol to flank him and his forces, but Zeus managed to escape. The artifact was successfully retrieved and sent to the Revanscar facility.[1]
