Billy was a marine in the Dominion Marine Corps. He competed against several other marines in a drone punting competition, and held a record of 4.5 meters, the second lowest among the competitors. Acting on a rumor that hydralisk needle spines would slide off you if you stood still and sideways, he put this idea into practice. It was an attempt that proved that hydralisk spines, do indeed, kill terrans if they hit them, regardless of whether they stood still while sideways or not. Unfortunately, the attempt cost him his life as noted by one of his comrades later on.
