Blake was a member of Raynor's Raiders in the SceeVee Special Engineering Corps.
He served twenty years as a network specialist for the Universal News Network, and was still receiving a pension from them. He later met with Bill "Pearly" Bousquette and joined in his SceeVee Corps. During their operation on Gurdlac, Pearly saved Blake when they were being swarmed by zerglings by clamping onto his SCV rig and tossing him through the canyon gap they were using to escape the zerg.
