The Brontes IV Satellite Platform was a space platform vital for terran communication, orbiting Brontes IV.
The protoss 7th Fleet attacked it, destroying the zerg which had infested it, in order to isolate Brontes IV from the rest of the system.
The terrans on the planet itself suffered chaos as a result of the loss of the platform, as their industry and trade ground to a halt and the terrans became more barbaric.
