An unnamed cerebrate was the leader of the Zerg Exploratory Forces of the Zerg Crusaders, who were sent to Aridas to retrieve the Argus stone. In the early days of the assault, the cerebrate launched an assault against the Aridas Colonial Militia, commanding from an infested cavern near the frontlines.[1]
Plot branch : The Protoss Crusaders send a force to attack the cerebrate in the zerg cave.
The Protoss Crusaders, seeking to weaken the zerg's hold on the planet, sent a force of zealots through the zerg lines and into the cavern. There the cerebrate sent its broods against the invaders, but the protoss found Aridian survivors from a previous expedition into the cavern. The two forces allied, and pushed toward the cerebrate, destroying its body.[2]
