Dr. Cook is a scientist on Braxis Holdout. Cook devoted his career to researching the zerg and had a high opinion of himself and his work. He designed the platform, and was later sent on a research grant pursue his zerg studies. However, he was stranded on the platform when the zerg broke out of the pens, and sought to use the platform's beacons to redirect the zerg away from him and his security forces.[1]
