Crab is a recreational terran narcotic with depressant and intoxicant effects. It has harmful effects in large quantities and/or usage over an extended period of time. It is possible to die of overdose of the drug.
Withdrawal symptoms for crab include poor judgment.[1] A combination of crab and snoke causes the user to forget things.[2]
During the Guild Wars, scuttlebutt was that crab was becoming increasingly hard to find.[1] After the end of the conflict, crab became more commonly distributed.[3]
