The Dominion Center for State Security (or DCSS) is a Terran Dominion intelligence/research unit.

History

The DCSS was active by the Second Great War. In early 2505, they initiated Operation Blind Devil, as part of a bid to control the Zerg Swarm. Ultimately, the project failed, with its research team slaughtered by its test subject.

• The DCSS's control scheme to utilize cybernetics to control the zerg mirrors that of the Cerberus Program. In addition, Tamsen Cauley, former leader of Cerberus, worked for the Center for State Security under the Terran Confederacy, implying a connection between the two groups.
