Dominion rocket troopers are Terran Dominion troopers equipped with a Hailstorm launcher. They are specialized in taking out armored air targets, but can still make use of their Ferromag SMG.

In the alternate timeline where Arcturus Mengsk survives the Second Great War, Mengsk utilized these soldiers in the fight against Amon.

Game Unit

Rocket troopers are available as an option for Arcturus Mengsk in Co-op Missions. They are upgraded from Dominion troopers for 160 minerals, which give them the ability to deal heavy damage to air targets from range. When a rocket trooper dies, their gear will fall on the map, and another Dominion trooper can pick them up and upgrade themselves. The weapon will also drop if the unit swaps itself to a Dominion laborer.

Like Dominion troopers, rocket troopers can be indoctrinated by an imperial witness's Patriot Mode to generate Imperial Mandate. They can also construct supply bunkers, earthsplitter ordnance, and missile turrets.

Abilities

Report for Labor

Orders the trooper to switch to a Laborer suit at the nearest enlistment center or supply bunker.

Equipped Troopers will drop their weapons upon switching to labor suits.

Will of the People

When this unit becomes Indoctrinated by an Imperial Witness, it increases Imperial Support by 1. Each point of Imperial Support generates 1 Imperial Mandate every 240 seconds.

Toxic Tyrant: Dominion Laborers and Troopers can provide Imperial Support while operating an Earthsplitter Ordnance.

Trivia

Dominion trooper and laborer select, move and attack quotations change depending on the level of Imperial Mandate the player has. At 34 and below, they are more reluctant, at 34-67, they are more "regular," and at 67 and above, the quotes are patriotic and assured.
