Dylar IV is a world in the Koprulu Sector, formerly a primary world of the Terran Confederacy.[1] It appears to have pink clouds from space.[2]

Dylar IV has been described as both an inhospitable desert world[3] and as a gas giant, potentially invalidating previous information.[4]

Known History

Dylar IV became a core world of the Terran Confederacy, serving as the home base of Omega Squadron[1] and the Dylarian Shipyards.[5] The world was infested by the zerg early in the war[1] and was inherited by the Terran Dominion.[5]

The Dylarian Shipyards were attacked by the United Earth Directorate Expeditionary Fleet[5] and the world's defense forces were impressed into the fleet.[6]

Alternity Description

Dylar IV is a desert world in the Koprulu Sector, although its thin oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere allows movement on the planet without the need for suits or respirators.[3] Clouds of red, yellow and pink gasses are spread throughout its atmosphere.[2]

Alternity History

In antiquity Dylar IV hosted a protoss mining colony. However, the settlement was later abandoned, becoming a set of ruins.[3]

The world was later abandoned. Eventually, following the Brood War, Dylar IV would be investigated by the Alliance and the ruins handed over to the protoss.[3]
