Environmental stabilizers are a technology used by the Terran Dominion on the world of Veridia Prime. The machine is able to stabilize the planet's high volcanic activity, and helps regulate the planet's lava surges. It is powered off of xenon crystals found on the planet.
During the End War, the forces of Amon destabilized the planet of Veridium Prime and deactivated the stabilizers. Allied commanders were tasked by Valerian Mengsk to prevent the planet's destruction. The allied commanders recovered twenty xenon crystals from the planet, reactivating a stabilizer and preventing the planet's destruction.[1]
Game Structure[]
The environmental stabilizer appears in the Co-op Missions scenario "The Vermillion Problem." It is the area where the players must escort xenon crystals to in order to complete the mission's primary objective. The stabilizer is untargetable and cannot be destroyed.[1]
