Evil Awoken is the third and final mission of Whispers of Oblivion the prequel campaign for Legacy of the Void.

Zeratul and his forces infiltrated the Temple of Erris, in order to retrieve the final part of the xel'naga prophecy.^[1]

The mission is similar to the "Whispers of Doom" mission in Wings of Liberty. Zeratul is controlled directly by the player as a hero unit.^[1]
