Lister is a terran marine in Omega Squadron, serving under the Terran Dominion.

Biography

Several years after the Brood War, Lister was dispatched as part of a squad to Mar Sara, assigned to support a Dominion Marine Corps force under Captain Buck. A ghost was also present, though remained separate from the marines. Lister took the opportunity to mock the assassin, but as these taunts were made under the assumption that the ghost was male, when this turned out to not be the case, he made himself look the fool instead.

Soon afterward, Lister and his squad touched down, ready to engage the zerg on the surface of the planet.

Lister's portrait in early builds of StarCraft: Ghost

Lister was also set to appear in earlier builds of StarCraft: Ghost, helping Nova on Mar Sara. He and Sacker would land twenty clicks south of their intended drop zone, and have to fight the zerg to reach their location. The game files imply that Lister would be killed in the firefight.
