LarsCorp Technologies is a terran arms manufacturer[1] based in the Kel-Morian Combine.[2]

It is known mainly for its design and manufacture of the goliath armored walker, which it sold the Combine.[1]

Before Korhal's destruction, it had a headquarters on Korhal, situated in the capital of Styrling.[3]

It has a form of partnership with Terran Wildlife Services, developing parks such as Big Game[4] and The Creek.[5]

History[]

By 2478, LarsCorp appears to have been involved in the manufacturing and/or design of surveillance equipment.[3]

LarsCorp designed the goliath combat walker and sold it to the Kel-Morian Combine[1] by 2480.[3]

Later, corporate saboteurs acquired the design for the Terran Confederacy.[1]

By 2503, LarsCorp had developed a revolutionary new missile guidance system. The Terran Dominion's agent Gestalt Zero stole the data and destroyed the plant, killing many employees.[2]

By 2504, the company had designed the M98 ballistic alloy combat shield, developed a modified version of the Defensive Matrix temporary shield for the Minotaur-class battlecruiser, and a new "smart shell" round for the siege tank that does less damage to allied combatants in the radius of impact.[6]

The battlecruiser produces a shield which absorbs 200 damage. The ability is not smartcast.

The defensive matrix is a temporary deflection field that helped save countless assets from a premature death during the original Brood War. Now the minds at LarsCorp have adapted this technological marvel to protect the massive hull of the Minotaur-class battlecruiser.

Siege tank shock cannons deal 75% less splash damage to friendly units.

LarsCorp has developed a "smart shell" for the siege tank that scans for allies on impact and adjusts its detonation to minimize damage to friendly units. Field tests have shown that this shell reduces friendly fire fatalities by 75%, though due caution is still recommended when walking into a fire zone.
