FitzGerald was the attendant of Refurbish and Recovery Station 5034. He spoke in a metallic monotone.
When Jim Raynor and Tychus Findlay were assigned by the Screaming Skulls to steal junk logs from the station, they met with FitzGerald disguised as junkers, and FitzGerald showed them in. However, the operation was a trap set by Ezekiel Daun, a bounty hunter hired to kill him. When Daun cut the coms to the station, FitzGerald left his post to see what was happening, and was shot twice and killed by Daun. Raynor and Findlay used his body to charge Daun, then picked FitzGerald's master key off of his corpse.[1]
