Trooper SC2 Art1

A Dominion trooper armed with a flamethrower

Flamethrowers are incendiary terran devices.

Infantry[]

Man-portable flamethrowers were carried by Confederate marines such as Hank Harnack during the Guild Wars, and were generally used as squad weapons. The soldier, having received proper training, would carry a pair of fuel containers with them. Harnack even used it in conjunction with the CMC-230XF "Thunderstrike armor". While the armor was canceled, the weapon was still considered useful, due to its ability to create walls of flame to block infantry, as well as destroy fuel lines within vehicles such as goliaths.

Some Kel-Morian Combine forces, such as the close-combat-specialized Guild Guards, also used flamethrowers.[1]

A Perdition flamethrower

Flamethrowers later became available to infantry in the form of the Perdition flamethrowers, integrated into CMC-600[2] and CMC-660 used by firebats.[3] while the United Earth Directorate relied on the C-140 flamethrower.[4] Portable perdition flamethrowers are also available.[5] The Devil Dogs mercenary company and the Terran Dominion's Prometheus Company both used enhanced perdition flamethrowers named firestorm flamethrowers.[6][7]

Structural[]

Structural flamethrowers exist in the form of Flaming Betty[13] and the Perdition turret.[14]
