Fungal colony

The following article contains information about a StarCraft unit or structure that was canceled.

The fungal colony was a zerg structure that was present during the StarCraft beta, but was removed before release. It formed a pair with the spore colony, which was then using the creep colony's sprite.

The fungal colony was ultimately recycled into the creep colony, which retained the placeholder name "Fcolony." Its sprite was recycled and enlarged for the evolution chamber.
