The Gantrithor was a protoss carrier, commanded by Executor Tassadar. It is the most famous of several heavily armed "Super Carriers".[1]
The Gantrithor was powerful enough that it single-handedly defeated an entire terran battlecruiser squadron under the command of General Edmund Duke.[1]
History
The Gantrithor was the flagship of Tassadar's Expeditionary Force.[2] It later appeared on Aiur, commanded by Tassadar.[3]
Its final battle was the final protoss/terran combined assault against the Overmind. It was heavily damaged in the battle.[3] The Gantrithor was destroyed when Tassadar used the energies of the Dark Templar[4] and rammed into the Overmind, destroying the ship as well as the Overmind.[5]
