The Grand Hotel was located on Mar Sara. In truth, it was something of a misnomer, considering that it was located far away from any population center.
During the events on Mar Sara that led to its destruction by the protoss, the cafe outside the hotel served as a focal point of gossip, mainly concerning the destruction of Chau Sara and the Confederacy's plans for the evacuation of the planet.
