"The protoss fleet is where their engineering really shines through."

The Great Fleet is a protoss military organization and a cornerstone of protoss military might, boasting a variety of powerful ships.[1] It is/was operated by the Auriga Tribe.[2]

Carriers serve as the Great Fleet's flagships, though some terrans have speculated that this position may be replaced by the void ray.[3]

History

The fleet was devastated by the zerg in their invasion of Aiur[4] though by the Second Great War, it had effectively been restored.[1] In an apocalyptic future foreseen by the Overmind however, the remnants of the fleet were rallied to Ulnar by Admiral Urun; there they were destroyed in the protoss' final stand against the Dark Voice and the hybrids.[5]
