Greek is an Indo-European language native to the southern Balkan peninsula on Earth. Despite centuries of written and spoken use, it had become a dead language by the 25th century,[1] a decline likely aided by the United Powers League designating English as the common language of Earth two centuries prior.[2] Despite this ban, elements of Greek still remain, the motto of Styrling Academy among them.[1]
