Gregor was one of the younger colonists of Bhekar Ro, beset by changing times at a young age. This included the emergence of an alien artifact and the downing of an alien craft that had come to investigate said artifact. With no telling when outside aid would reach the planet, Gregor and the rest of the colonists prepared to defend their world. As it was, aid did reach the planet in the form of Alpha Squadron, but not before the colonists defended Free Haven from a tide of alien invaders before the Squadron's arrival.
