Hearthstone x StarCraft announcement

Heroes of StarCraft is a mini-set announced for Hearthstone's Great Dark Beyond expansion coming in January 2025. This mini-set will feature terran, protoss and zerg.

Features

• Jim Raynor is set to represent the paladin, warrior, and shaman classes and the terran race. The terrans will have a twist on the set's "starship" mechanic where they will be able to construct battlecruisers using starship parts.

• Sarah Kerrigan is set to represent the death knight, demon hunter, hunter, and warlock classes and the zerg race. Her set will focus on aggressive cards that swarm the board.

• Artanis is set to represent the druid, mage, priest, and rogue classes and the protoss race. His set will feature high cost cards they will grow cheaper as the game goes on.

• The expansion will feature at least one card for Grunty the Murloc Marine.

Trivia

The set's name is a possible reference to "Heroes of Warcraft," which was Hearthstone's original subtitle.
