A khaydarin ihan crystal is a memory storage device. It allows one being to relive the experiences of another.[1]
Zeratul recorded his quest for the prophecy starting from Ulaan[2] to the Overmind's vision[3] into an ihan and gave it to Jim Raynor to view.[4] The crystal was stored in Hyperion's laboratory.[1]

Notes[]
- An unused model for the Wings of Liberty Ihan crystal made to hang in the cantina after the Zeratul Missions are completed is located in the Galaxy Map Editor. Underneath it is a plaque that reads "memores acti prudentes futuri," Latin for "mindful of things done, aware of things to come."
- Concept art for an unused "Raynor's quarters" Hyperion room places the ihan crystal in his quarters rather than in the lab.
- Early concepts for the crystal label it as "Zeratul Pulse Mine."[5]
