The Imperial intercessor is a specialized medivac dropship used by the Royal Guard of the Terran Dominion. In the alternate timeline where Arcturus Mengsk survives the Second Great War, these ships were deployed to the fight against Amon.[1]
Game Unit
The intercessor is a variant of the medivac dropship available to Arcturus Mengsk in Co-op Missions. It retains its healing and afterburner abilities. They can pick up Shock Division tanks while in siege mode, and with the Armament Stabilizer upgrade they and have the tank fire while in siege mode, allowing them to target air units. However, while they pick up siege tanks, they are unable to heal or use their cloaking abilities.
Intercessors are also powerful when used with Aegis Guards, as they are Mengsk's only means to heal biological units. Their cloak upgrade prevents them from being a high priority target.[1]
