Kerrigan is a powerful unit; she has high HP, good armor, and deals massive damage with her normal attacks. With Ensnare and Psionic Storm she can support the player's forces against large numbers of enemies, and can Cloak to scout out enemies and attack vulnerable points. Her major weakness is her inability to attack air units, and heavy-hitting units like reavers can quickly deplete her HP.

Kerrigan cannot use her Psionic Storm ability in the missions "Agent of the Swarm" and "The Amerigo."
Units in a 4 x 4 targeted area are covered in green slime, halving their movement and attack rates. Cloaked units caught in that area will also be revealed for the spell's duration.
Inflicts 112 damage to all units within a target area over seven seconds. The storm does not harm structures or units within bunkers. Psionic storm ignores armor and armor types. Only one storm may affect an area at a time; overlapping storms does not increase damage output.
In her game sprite she possesses four wings, while she possesses two wings in her wireframe and in artwork. This is more visible in StarCraft: Remastered.
In older versions of Brood War, on the map "The Quest for Uraj" Kerrigan's select quote was changed from "Yes cerebrate?" to simply "Yes?" as the player is the executor rather than a cerebrate. However, this was removed in StarCraft: Remastered.
