This article or section contains information derived from Co-op Missions, and should not be considered part of the official StarCraft storyline.

Infested liberators is a unit available to Alexei Stukov in Co-op Missions. They are infested versions of the terran liberator.
Game Unit
Infested liberators appear in Co-op Missions, and are created by Alexei Stukov from the infested starport. Unlike normal liberators, they lack an anti-ground mode, but fire a medium (5) range projectile that deals area damage to air units and deals damage over time. Infested liberators can be upgraded to increase damage to their primary target, and to disperse into a cloud of microbes when they attack.
Abilities
Infested Liberators instantly transform into a cloud of microscopic organisms while attacking, reducing the damage they take by 85% and causing their target to deal damage to nearby enemies as it moves. Liberators will continue in cloud form until there are no enemies taking damage from it, and can move while in cloud form.

Trivia
Editor data indicates that the infested liberator was originally intended to be an infested version of the valkyrie.[1]
The infested liberator uses the infested banshee portrait, though the quotes remain a distorted version that of the liberator.
