Into the Void is a three mission epilogue campaign taking place after the end of the main Legacy of the Void campaign. It serves as a conclusion to the story told through the three StarCraft II campaigns, featuring the three protagonists (Jim Raynor, Sarah Kerrigan, and Artanis) as they unite to finish the fight against Amon, the main antagonist of the series.

The missions serve as a conclusive end to the story started in StarCraft, but not the end of history within that universe as a whole.

Trivia

• Similar to how the three campaigns of StarCraft II followed the order the races are played in in the original game, (terran, zerg, protoss, respectively), the epilogue campaign follows the racial order of StarCraft: Brood War (protoss, terran, zerg).
