Jack Ritschel was the voice actor of [[Zeratul]] and General Edmund Duke in [[Starcraft]] and it's expansion [[StarCraft: Brood War]]. In the Blizzcon '09 StarCraft II Lore/Voice-Actor Panel, Chris Metzen declared that Jack Ritschel had passed away a few years ago. Fred Tatasciore who is now the new voice actor for Zeratul told that it was Jack who really captured the spirit of "this 600 somewhat year old knight templar". Fred Tatasciore remember him being called as a Good Version of Darth Vader, presumably for his calm but deep and strong voice.
