Jonathan "John" de Lancie, Jr. (born November 13, 1948) is an American actor, director, producer, writer, singer, voice artist, and comedian, best known for his role as Q in the Star Trek franchise and the voice of Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

He provides the voice of the Tal'darim leader Alarak in StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void[1] and Nova Covert Ops.[2] He returned to Blizzard to record new lines for Alarak in Co-op Missions.[3]
