Minister Jorgensen leads the Umojan Protectorate.[1]
Biography
In 2489, as the Guild Wars closed and the murder of Angus Mengsk (leader of the Rebellion of Korhal) became known, Jorgensen, at the time a councilor, announced the formation of an organization which would protect Umoja from Confederate aggression – the Umojan Protectorate.[2]
In late 2500, Jorgensen was contacted by former Dominion senator Corbin Phash. Phash's son, Colin, had psionic powers which had been exposed during a zerg invasion. Colin then vanished. The Dominion tried to arrest Corbin, who fled to Umoja and requested asylum there. Upon receiving the news that Colin had been captured and taken to the Ghost Academy, Corbin vowed to expose it, and Jorgensen suggested he would use Universe News Network reporter Kate Lockwell to distribute the information beyond Dominion control.[3]
