Kelehmar and its surrounding area
Kelehmar was an ancient holy protoss sanctuary and warrior haven on Braken.
History[]
Potent Khaydarin energies were concealed inside the sanctuary. A prophecy involving Kelehmar foretold that "he who harnesses this world will someday wield great a power, sanctified by the ancient ones."
Great War[]
During the Great War, the enemies of the protoss stroke Kelehmar intending to harness the energies of the sanctuary. The Templar met them in combat following the orders of the Conclave that no one other than the protoss should channel the site's energies.
The ancient temples of Braken were destroyed, but it's unclear if Kelehmar was as well. Even then, securing this site was said to bring "great honor, glory and riches to the one who could hold it." In part for the resources that could fuel the war industry, but also because of its arcane religious significance.
