The kill bot was a machine deployed by Amon in the End War. It was completely invincible, but after performing a certain number of kills, it would shut down.[1]

Game Unit[]

The kill bot appears in the Co-op Missions mutator "Kill Bots." The robot is invulnerable, but has a kill counter above its head. After a certain number of kills, the kill bot destroys itself.

There are three types of kill bot; the murder bot, death bot, and kill bot. Each type is larger than the previous, deals more damage, and takes more kills before it self-destructs. Murder bots require 5 kills, death bots require 10, and kill bots require 15.

The kill bot is also an option for Amon to receive in a gift in the mutator "Gift Exchange."[1] This kill bot takes 30 kills, increased to 50 if it spawns after the 10-minute mark.

Trivia[]

The robot is possibly named after the killbots of the Futurama series, which shut down after 999,999 kills. Additionally the names of the three types of kill bot (murder/death/kill) may also be a reference to the term used for a homicide in the film Demolition Man.
