Lennox Craven was the consul of the Korhal Senate. His responsibilities included controlling the often unruly senators and carrying out the Confederacy's wishes.
He was a skilled politician and businessman, but met his match in Angus Mengsk. In 2478, unable to deal with him politically, he tried to have him murdered by a team of disguised neurally resocialized marines at the Mengsk summer home, but the plot failed.
Lennox was unable to prevent the popular Mengsk from speaking at the Close of Session speech months later. There Mengsk humiliated him by embracing him in public and whispering that he knew Craven was behind the assault on his home.
