Maelstrom rounds are a payload developed for the terran siege tank around the early stages of the Second Great War. They have an armor-piercing tip that inflicts devastating damage on the primary target, but its splash damage is identical to the standard round.[1] Raynor's Raiders gained access to these rounds after their operation on Xil.[2]
