Mantis mines are terran mechanical drones. It is used for reconnaissance operations, locating enemy positions.

Gameplay Effect

Mantis mines were to be one of the options available to Nova Terra in StarCraft: Ghost. They would allow her to scout out enemy positions before moving in.
