The mecha hatchery was a Mecha Swarm structure created by Egon Stetmann during the End War. It served as the center of his hive clusters, producing mecha larva and serving as a hub for his mecha drones to deposit resources. The mecha hatchery had its own egonergy field.[1]
The mecha hatcheries are the central hive structure of Egon Stetmann in Co-op Missions. Much like a regular hatchery, it spawns mecha larva, but at an enhanced rate to make up for the lack of queens to inject larva. Mecha hatcheries generate an initial egonergy field, allowing for placements of stetellites around it.
Mecha hatcheries will burn down when put below 1/4th health like terran structures, but can be repaired by mecha drones.
