The mecha infestation pit was a Mecha Swarm structure created by Egon Stetmann during the End War. It allowed Stetmann to produce and enhance his mecha infestors.

The mecha infestation is a structure available to Egon Stetmann in Co-op Missions. It functions much the same as a normal infestation pit and will respawn mecha infestors from scrap parts. It does not need to be placed on creep or in an egonergy field.

Mecha infestation pit will burn down with put below 1/4th health like terran structures, but can be repaired by mecha drones.

For each 4 Mecha Infestor Remnants collected by Stetellites, Gary, and Super Gary, a Mecha Infestor will spawn here at no cost.

The Mecha Infestor launches a mechanical nerve cord at a friendly unit, restoring 150 life, 50 Egonergy, and 50 energy instantly. An additional 600 life, 200 Egonergy, and 200 energy regenerates over 20 seconds. The unit's ability cooldown rate is increased by 25%. Can be cast while burrowed.
