During the End War, these lurkers can be equipped with programs to focus on one enemy, and tunnel itself to a new location while damaging enemies in its path. They were evolved from the mecha hydralisk.[2]

Game Unit[]

The mecha lurker is the siege attacker for Egon Stetmann in Co-op Missions, and can be evolved from mecha hydralisks once he reaches Level 6. These lurkers have a devastating line attack, but can move themselves using the Tunnel of TERROR Algorithm ability, hitting enemies in a line along the way. They can also be upgraded to focus fire on one enemy, dealing damage to that enemy and anyone around them.

Mecha lurkers can be "recycled" when they die, which will respawn as mecha hydralisks.[2]
